You will work in a product team that is charged with the responsibility for a new Order of the Arrow application that will operate on mobile devices and web browsers to provide: member self-service access to membership and OA information, ability to collaborate with other members, help chapter and lodge leadership in their roles and responsibilities and support unique requirements of national events like NOAC. The application will integrate with OA LodgeMaster where the source of membership and other critical data exists.
You will be part of the team that designs the application from existing and new ideas based on your passion and knowledge of the Order of the Arrow. You should be engaged on a path for excellence with a pragmatic attitude; ability to help pursue big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the communications across the team and membership to understand their problems, and find solutions for their needs. Using the latest in product design in persona and usage experience requirements will ensure effective design of the application. The technology committee will support your strategic effort and will help improve or prepare you for a career in technology industry.
REQUIREMENTS
- Member of the Order of the Arrow and working knowledge of its operations.
- Effective communications skills and ability to routinely interact with team members.
- Ability to work to schedules and timeliness.
- Working on a degree or passion for Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Product Manager
We are looking for a product manager lead for the OA application. As the product manager you will work as a lead along with other leads in supporting the complete product lifecycle of the application. In this role you will lead the persona and usage based design to identify and prioritize features, and manage timelines and ensure communication on the direction and status of the project.
User Experience (UX) Designer
We are looking for talented web and application user experience designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly designs for the OA application project across mobile and web platforms. You will work with the product leadership to design and test the user experience.
Application Developer
We are looking for mobile application developers to develop the OA application. These developers will be responsible for working with the UX designers to layout the user experience to develop and test the application. You should have some experience in these methods: JavaScript, CSS, Angular, HTML, with Ionic, and APIs.
API Developer
We are looking for a ASP WebAPI developer to develop the OA application API. These developers will be responsible for working for the project team leads to develop the API infrastructure for the OA applications to interface into. You should have experience in these methods: C#, Entity Framework, ASP WebAPI, and NUnit.
Web App Developer
We are looking for web app developers to develop the OA Application. This is an administration portal to manage pieces of the mobile application. These developers will be responsible for working with the UI designers to layout the user experience and code and test modules. You should have some experience in these methods: JavaScript, CSS, Angular, HTML, and APIs.
